Recently, I went to a Build Your Own Business meeting. At this meeting people with all types of businesses came together to talk about what they did to start their business, what they did to make it better and gave others advice on what to change. This was my first experience with one of these meetings and I can say that everyone seemed to get the help and information that they needed. These Build Your Own Business meetings are a very encouraging place where everyone gets some helpful, real feedback. In this particular meeting, many of the topics that came up where about making a business better. Through this, one of the things that I learned was that you need to find whats best for you in your business, what will make you happy, and what doesn’t work. In other words, figure out your strengths and weaknesses. The meeting also touched on another strategy, work toward something big that will give you a push. This means that you need to work harder and have a big goal for your business.
Hearing about everyone’s ideas at the Build Your Own Business meeting helped me to better understand how to start my own business in the future!
